We just completed this years' school supply distribution. Last year we served 50 children, and this year our orders more than doubled as we served 159 students with loaded backpacks (and school uniforms when needed).

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Cornerstone Assembly of God: Cornerstone Net Ministries, 41 Tidemill Lane, Hampton, Va. 23666 The Net ministries of Cornerstone Assembly comprise of our Net Food Pantry and our Net Clothing Closet. Mon – Fri 8 am – 4 pm we have staff on
duty to assist those who are in need of food and or clothing.
Mrs. Thomas (826-4322 ext 118) is the supervisor of the Food Pantry and on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 11 am – 1 pm our Net Outreach distributes food. All persons who have a desire to receive food are required to fill out the necessary paperwork before receiving any foods. On each 3rd Tuesday we distribute USDA foods that also required forms for completion. We also take emergency cases for food and those who are in need please contact Mrs. Thomas for help or referrals.
Ms. Alston (826-4322 ext 118) is the supervisor for our Net Clothing Closet. Ms. Alston is here Mon. – Fri. from 8 am - 4 pm and she takes clients by appointment and also walk-ins. Our Net Closet consist of many varieties of clothing and sizes for children and adults. If you are in need please feel free to contact her. We also take donations of new and softly used clothing for our Clothing Closet. Your donations are tax deductible and we will be happy to give you the forms for your tax deductible contribution. Project NOW Project NOW (Need of Work) is a Work Force Development Program geared to assisting anyone who is in need of employment or has the desire to improve their skills. We specialize in resume writing, interview skills, computer skills training, etc. with a hands on program that will help in developing you for success. The office ours Mon. – Fri. 8am – 4pm. Project NOW also host a number of workshops to assist the community in various areas. Some of the previous workshops include: Gang Awareness, College Financial Aid, Job Fairs, Financial Security Seminars, and How to Buy a Home. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All Nations Church: Sunday morning outreach, Sunday morning outreach where we provide those in need a hot breakfast each Sunday morning from 8:30 AM – 10:15 AM. During that time our clothes closet is open as well as a men’s and women’s shower. We have a bus pick up for this outreach at 9 AM on the corner of 29th St. & Jefferson Ave. in Downtown Newport News at the Farmer’s Market.
We also provide a hot dinner each Wednesday at 6 PM at the Farmer’s Market (corner of 29th & Jefferson) in Downtown Newport News. POC: Pastor Chadwick Lambert (825-8465). On Wednesday's 29th & Jefferson is the place of ministry. On Sunday's we pick up there, but we minister at the church.
